God wants us to be grateful to Him as we benefit daily from His favor.
1.Luke 17:11-19: Jesus heals 10 lepers of which nine were Jews and one was a Samaritan. All nine, after realizing they were healed, went their way to enjoy their good health. The Samaritan, when he saw he was healed, returned to Jesus and knelt, thanked and worshiped Him. The Lord Jesus was disappointed by the ingratitude of these nine Jews and said to the Samaritan leper: Arise, go your way – your faith has made you whole.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-19: In everything that happens to us, we must give thanks to God, for that is the will of God in Christ Jesus.
-Colossians 4:2: Continue in prayer, watch in the same, with thanksgiving.
Ezra 3:11: With praise and thanksgiving, they sang to the Lord!
Psalm 7:17, 9:1, 35:18, 69:30, Daniel 2:23: We must praise and thank God for assisting us.
-Psalm 118:1: Give thanks to God for His goodness endures forever.
-Psalm 100:4-5: Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him and bless His name. The Lord is good….
-Psalm 95:1-2: Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving…
-Psalm 69:30: I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
Prayer: Lord, I want to thank you for the my existence in this world, forgiveness of my sins, my salvation, for the healing in my body, for sparing my life, for your provision of a family, provision of means of life, for shelter, food, water, transportation, for a church family and for the ministry in the work of your kingdom, for friends and love, for goodness that I am not aware of you, thank you Lord. I love you Lord, in Jesus’s name Amen.
