1. John 11:40: Jesus told Martha if you believe you will see the glory of God. We are to believe first, then the sight of the glory of God is seen. We believe in seeing – we do not see to believe.
2. Mark 5:34: Jesus told the woman He healed from 12 years of bleeding, and who touched Him for healing; “My daughter, your faith has made you well, go in peace, and be healed of your plague”. Her faith in Jesus caused Jesus to call her daughter. Her faith healed her and caused Jesus to declare that the plague will never return.
3. Mark 11:21-24: Jesus said to Peter and to us: Have faith in God. If we have faith and do not doubt, we can tell the mountains to remove themselves and be thrown into the sea, and those things will happen.
- When we pray – whatever we desire to receive in our prayer, we must believe, and we will receive what we ask for.
- We ought to forgive our offenders while praying to God.
4. Mark 9:22-23: Jesus told the father of a demon-possessed son that all things are possible to him that believes.
5. Luke 18:35-43: Jesus asked the blind man, Bartimaeus; What can I do for you? He said, “Lord that I might receive my sight”. Jesus told him; “Receive your sight – your faith has saved you”. Bartimaeus received his sight because of his faith in Jesus Christ. Bartimaeus received salvation because of his faith.
6. John 14:12-14: Our Lord Jesus said that if we, the body of Christ, believe in Him, we will do what He did and even greater works than He did – and if we ask anything in His name, He will do it.
7. Matthew 18:18-20: Our Lord Jesus Christ said that we as the church have the power to bind something on earth, and it will be bound in heaven. If we lose something on earth, it will be loose in heaven.
-Our Lord Jesus Christ also said that if two of us agree on earth about anything we ask for, His Father God will give it to us.
– When a group of believers gather in His name, He is with us.
8. Mark 5: 35-42: Our Lord Jesus Christ told the father of the twelve-year-old girl who had died: Do not be afraid, only believe. Sure enough, Jesus went and resurrected her.
9. John 4: 46-54: Our Lord Jesus Christ told the king’s minister: Except you see signs and wonders, you will not believe.
– Go your way – your son lives. The Minister believed the word that Jesus had spoken to him, and he went his way. The next day he was met with a delegation from his house that told him his son was healed at the same time Jesus had said: Your son lives.
– He and his whole household believed.
10. Matthew 8:1-4: The leper worshiped Jesus and told him: If you will, you can make me whole. Jesus put His hand on him and spoke I will -be clean, and immediately the leprosy was cleansed.
11. Romans 10:17: Faith comes from hearing and hearing from the words of Christ. We need faith to pray, and it will only come from hearing the words from Christ.
12. Hebrews 11:6: Without faith, it is impossible to please God. He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Prayer: My Father God, I have faith in you but help my unbelief to decrease and my faith to increase by the knowledge of your word. I want to believe more your promises, your commands and your instructions in the Bible. May my faith please you to the point to reward my permanent search of your face, in Christ Jesus, Amen
