- Psalm 20: 1-9: A prayer is a cry to God for help, for salvation, for support and for solutions to those in the Lord.
- 2 Chronicles 7:13-14: A prayer where we humble ourselves, pray, seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways. Then God promises He will hear us from heaven, forgive the sins of the people and heal our land.
- Psalm 51:1-19: King David prayed to God for forgiveness. He had remorse for his sins, confessed, and the Lord forgave him.
- Exodus 32:22: Moses told the children of God that their sins will find them out.
- 1 John 1:5-9: When we sin and confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all impurities.
- 1 John 2:1-2: If we sin, we have an Advocate, Jesus Christ, with the Father. He is the propitiation for our sins.
- Psalm 66:18: If I had cherished sins in my heart, God would not have heard my prayer. But now He has heard me because of my supplication.
- Isaiah 59:1-2: The hand of the Lord is not too short to save us, nor his ears too heavy to hear us, but it is our sins that separate us from Him and hide His face.
- Proverbs 28:13: He who conceals his sin will not prosper, but he who confesses sins and forsakes them obtains mercy. Let us confess our sins.
- John 9:31: God does not hear sinners. But if anyone is a worshiper of God, and does His will, God hears him.
Prayer: Father God, accept my supplications, my pleas for mercy and grace, I have nowhere to turn, you are my only refuge, please Lord consider my broken heart and make me find favor in front of your majesty, in Christ’s name; Amen
